Our Policies

Good fences make good neighbors… and good policies make good business. Here’s what you need to know up front about how we do things. Feel free to give us a call if you have any questions.

New PayPal Payment Options

We now offer quick and easy payment via PayPal. Payment via Paypal is convenient, fast, fee and fraud free! We simply send you a link via e-mail, and you can pay online with a check or any credit card you choose. A PayPal account is NOT required. (Though you may decide you want one—they’re quite convenient!)

Electronic Check

PayPal allows you to send funds directly from your bank account. Your bank account number and information is kept completely confidential. And you never have to worry about delays with the mail, or lost or stolen checks.

Credit Cards

Using our PayPal payment system, you can choose to pay over time by using your favorite credit card. No processing fess, and great security—we never see your credit card number, ever.

New Printing Payment Terms

When Fly Creative manages and/or brokers printing services for the client, the following terms apply:

100% Pre-payment is required for all printing services.

Pre-payment allows us to keep your printing prices low. With our convenient PayPal payment option, pre-payment is easier, faster and safer than ever, too.

Our Quality Promise

We’re picky about printers. And we stand behind every product and service we sell. If a print job we’ve managed does not meet your satisfaction, we’ll make it right. Period.

A Note About Printers

We occasionally have clients who request that a project be printed by their local printer or one of the national, internet-based printers. We will be glad to work with any printer you choose and prepare the files specifically for those printers. However, because we cannot personally oversee the press run, the quality of the final product will be the responsibility of the printer. Additional production costs may also apply.

New Service Payment Terms

50% Pre-payment is required for all design services.

Upon approval of the project summary and estimate, we require a 50 % pre-payment of the estimated project cost—excluding printing. The remaining 50% is due 15 days from the delivery of the finished product.

Not only does this help us keep service prices lower, we’ve found it also helps clients with budgeting and keeping projects on track. And with convenient PayPal payment options, you can pre-pay with your favorite credit card if you choose. (Sky Miles? Cash Back rewards? The choice is yours!)

Project Estimates

We provide an estimate for every project must be approved by the client before we begin work. Approval of the estimate assures that we have understood the project as communicated to us, and that the client is comfortable with our pricing and operating process. If significant changes to a project plan are made by the client during the course of the project, the project costs will very likely change. An updated estimate may be provided in writing. Our estimate presumes that any and all necessary information will be delivered by the client in a timely manner.

General Payment Terms

To initiate work on a project, Fly Creative Solutions, LLC requires pre-payment of 50% of the total estimated project cost, excluding printing. Payment may be made by company check, cashier’s check, or credit card. Credit card payments are managed via Paypal.

Progress Payments

For projects spanning more than 30 days, we may send an invoice for progress payment.

Screening and Credit Checks

Please be aware that all clients, old and new, may be asked to provide proof of credit-worthiness. Fly Creative reserves the right to request payment in advance for any project. Credit card payments are always accepted and are managed via PayPal. See Above for details.

Official Statement of Payment Policy

Fly Creative Solutions, LLC requires payment in full on or before the invoice due date, as printed on the invoice. An interest charge of 5% per month will be added to all past due balances. In addition to interest, administrative fees and attorneys fees will be added to bills not paid in a timely manner. Customers may be screened for credit risk. Fly Creative Solutions, LLC retains the rights to any work, graphics, or materials created on the customers behalf, until payment in full is received. Should any questions arise regarding our payment policy, please contact our offices. Questions about a specific invoice should be addressed within ten (10) days of receipt of the invoice. (You’ll also find this printed on every invoice.)

Ownership and Intellectual Property Rights

All work designed by Fly Creative Solutions, LLC remains the sole property of Fly Creative Solutions, LLC. Most work is offered to the client for unrestricted use once payment for services is made in full. Occasionally, certain types of design work may require special licensing agreements, such as royalties or buyout terms. Buyout requirements and special licensing agreements, when necessary, will always be discussed, negotiated and agreed to prior to commencement of the work, in writing. Unless otherwise noted or agreed to in writing, once the design work is paid for in full, you are free to use it as you please—make billboards, tee shirts, tattoos….But until it’s paid for in full, we own it.

Archived Graphic Files

When we finish a project, we usually collect and compress the associated files and burn them on a CD. They are then stashed away for safekeeping. We STRONGLY encourage all of our clients to do the same: when you receive your finished graphic project—logo, brochure proofs, banner graphics—PLEASE make a couple back up copies of the electronic files, label them explicitly and legibly, and stash them away in your company’s file storage safe. This will protect your project, and save you headaches should the files be needed in the future.

If you do lose your copy down the road, we can generally provide a replacement. A fee of $95 plus any shipping or delivery costs will apply.
